Canova Aviation Publications is a privately owned company, incorporated in the State of Arizona. First established in 1989, as a company offering logbooks and training manuals for pilots operating B737 and B747 aircraft. The company has involved into a leading company, providing high quality, professional training materials for B737 & B747 pilots worldwide!
The owner, Capt. Bob Danbury, a current B757 Captain with over 16,000 hours of flight experience, has been flying professionally since 1978. First as corporate pilot operating Learjets, Gulfstreams G-IIIs, HS-125-800s and Citations, then as an airline pilot flying Boeing 727, Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 757 and DHC-8. His training background includes Instructor Training at FlightSafety International - Learjet, Boeing 727 pilot training at United Airlines and U.S.Air, Gulfstream training FlightSafety - Gulfstream, and finally, Check Airman training at America West Airlines.
Our primary goal is to produce quality training material for airline pilots who are requiring something "extra and beyond" the standard issue airline manual. For many pilots, their airline's training material is very good, with extensive resources for the pilot to use. But for many pilots, striving to reach the United and Americans of the world, their small airline training facilities have a very limited resources. This is where Canova Aviation has provided that special "extra" for those pilots wanting more!
Our manuals and CDs are based on the standard and proven technique of presenting material in the collegiate style. This method of presentation uses the traditional outline to review large volumes of information. The Cockpit Review is designed to follow a typical "flow pattern" through the flight deck, reviewing each and every instrument, light and control panel. This "flow pattern" is the same that many examiners use during Type Ratings and Airline Proficiency Checks. This method of learning and training has been successful for many years by thousands of pilots.
From the very beginning, it is our policy that..."if a pilot is not 100% satisfied with our training materials, he or she can return it any time for a complete refund or replacement"! To this date, not a single pilot has returned a book or CD for lack of quality or inadequate material content. Not bad for 10 years of service to the professional airline pilots of the world!
